This test paper allows the specific detection of lactoperoxidase in milk. In the dairy industry the test is used for the quick and easy quality control of highly heated milk. In contrast to the alternative guaiacol method, Peroxtesmo MI is odourless and non-toxic.
- Colour change: White to blue
A drop of milk is put onto the test paper. If the paper remains white, the high heating process is completed.
