Microplates, 24-well, Whatman™ UNIFILTER®
Microplates Filter Plates
The 10 ml UNIFILTER is used with large sample or reagent volumes. Typical applications include biomolecule purification by solid phase extraction and organic synthesis in combinatorial chemistry library generation.

  • Polypropylene microplate is heat and chemical resistant
  • 24 well microplate with 10 ml wells appropriate for large sample volumes
  • No cross talk: patented integral filter drip director design prevents well-to-well cross contamination
  • Filtration media options include glass microfiber, melt-blown polypropylene, PTFE, VFE

Applications such as combinatorial chemistry library generation that require large sample volumes depend on microplates capable of filtering and holding these volumes. Biomolecule purification by solid phase extraction (SPE) is an example of one such an application.

Whatman UNIFILTER 24 well microplates are well suited for large sample volume filtration. As SPE plates, they possess high heat and chemical resistance, as well as novel long drip directors that minimize the risk of well-to-well cross-contamination.

Whatman UNIFILTER microplates from Cytiva's business are available in other plate materials and well formats. Well volumes range from 100 μl to 10 ml.
